Teamster Local 500 won a historic contract with ACME Markets.  Wage increases total $5.90 over the three year contract.  Also included in the deal were maintaining the current Teamsters Health and Welfare and Pension for all Members employed by ACME with no employee contributions.  Along with the wage gains were quality of life issues that were resolved that would enable our Members to utilize their PTO time as they see fit.  Also the Members are now allowed to break up to 3 weeks of vacation into individual days.  We also negotiated in-cab Camera language that will protect our Members from intrusive monitoring and prevents the Company from utilizing AI technology to discipline our Members.  We would like to thank our Negotiating Committee that consisted of : Tim Quinn, Tom O'Neill, Lou Sottnick, Steve Shewell, Jim Murray and Rafael Velasquez.
